Seabourn Quest Cruise to Antarctica: Adelie Penguin on King George Island

Posted Nov. 26th, 2013 by Daniel J. Cox

This morning we were blown out of Half Moon Bay where we had hoped to go ashore. Unfortunately a change of plans is just par for the course in Antarctica. We left Half Moon Bay and made our way to a calmer destination in Admiralty Bay and the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station on King George Island. Here we all finally got a chance for our first excursion ashore.
