Question from Pavel Knopp
What is your TODAY oppinion about Panasonic Lumix G90/G95 – is it worth of buying this camera? I am not PRO photographer and maybe will be Lumix G90 good enough (for me). G90 is not so big and heavy like Lumix G9 and – ofcourse – has built-in flash.
Have o good time, Pavel, Czech Republic
Hello Pavel, for general photography the Lumix G 90 is an excellent camera. I agree with you that it’s very light and easy to carry and I love the fact it has a built-in flash. I’ve always been disappointed that Lumix removed the flash from their so-called professional-grade cameras. Hope this helps. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the purchase of a G 90. Good luck and thanks for the question.

Thank you Daniel for your answer!
I have just another question (and I swear it is the last one…). I had heard that Panasonic Lumix cameras are prone to “wobble” when focusing. I hope, that it is true only in AF-Continus mode, which I don´t need so much. Is wobble problem in “normal” AF-S (one-shot focusing)? Can this “wobbling” be made smaller with your recommended Back Button Focusing?

You are correct that there is no wobble in AF-S. The wobble you are referring to is related to the DFD (Depth From DeFucus) technology used in AF-C. You should be good if you don’t photograph things moving towards the camera quickly.
