Polar Bears International & Ian Stirling's Newest Book-Polar Bear
One of the worlds leading authorities on Polar Bears, Dr. Ian Stirling, visited Winnipeg, Manitoba this week to sign his most recent book titled, Polar Bear. Dr. Stirling works closely with Polar Bears International (PBI). PBI hosted this event at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown, Winnipeg where the public was invited to listen to Dr. Stirling talk about the current state of affairs for polar bears in the northern part of Manitoba. You can read more about his dire predictions, for this population of polar bears, due to steadily increasing temperatures in the arctic and sub arctic.
