Cape Churchill Polar Bear Season 2010
This year my trip to Churchill was filled with lots of unusual events. My wife Tanya and I volunteer for Polar Bears International. Tanya went up in Mid October and I followed at the start of November. Our time in Churchill included Tanya throwing a party for PBI that included Martha Stewart as a guest. Martha loved Tanya’s cranberry relish. Canada’s CBC’s Late Night talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos was also a guest. Both were there to get a better idea of how climate change is effecting polar bears. Portia Polar Bear came up for a visit and we had several book signings of her new book Portia Polar Bears Birthday Wish at several of the gift shops in town. My work for PBI continued through December 17 and on the 18th I was on the payroll for Frontiers North and Tundra Buggy Adventures. Hope you enjoy the photos from this season.
