Nikon D4 Camera and 80-400mm Zoom Lens

All photos on this page were shot with the Nikon D4. It was was set to Continues AF, frame rate was also set to Continues. I used 9 point Dynamic AF with the center focus point highlighted. I tried to keep that center focus point on the dogs head at all times. I rated an image a 5 Star if the part of the dog, the AF spot was on, was sharply focused. There were a few images where the red square/AF spot was completely off the dog but the dog’s eye’s/face was critically sharp. I gave these 5 stars thinking that the camera must have switched the AF over to an outside AF spot. Whether it did or not doesn’t really matter, I’m just happy when the image is critically sharp however it got there.
