The white horses of the Camargue are just one of the many subjects we’ll be photographing on our upcoming Natural Exposures Invitational Photo Tours to France.
The Camargue horse is a traditional French working horse indigenous to the Camargue area in southern France. Its origins are unknown. For centuries, possibly thousands of years, these small horses have lived wild in the harsh environment of the Camargue marshes and wetlands of the Rhone Delta.
Traditionally, they live in semi-feral conditions. Some have been domesticated, and we’ll work with a local rancher who can put these beautiful animals right before our cameras. Along with the gorgeous horses, we’ll be working the lavender fields and other landscapes. Our two 2025 France trips are sold out, but if you want to be added to the waitlist or are interested in joining us for another photo tour, send us an email!
