Victoria Glacier

By Daniel J. Cox

Victoria Glacier Natural Note

The Canadian Rockies comprise some of the most photogenic mountains in the world. This scene in Banff National Park is one of the most famous views of Victoria Glacier from the end of Lake Louise.

This was taken on one of the two Canadian Rockies photo tours Tanya and I just finished. Actually, when you receive this, the second trip will be nearing an end. It’s been a fabulous three weeks in these wonderful mountains. We photographed black bears, bighorn sheep, elk and even saw a grizzly. So many great memories from my time here in the 90s’ when I was working on my book titled Elk. It is so much warmer now, as it is virtually everywhere we go. My hope for all the world is that mother nature turns back the clock, so we can enjoy the wonderfully cool and wintery weather I used to experience in my early days in the Rockies.

Drop us a note if you have an interest in a signed copy of Elk. I still have a few copies for $29.00 (plus shipping).
