A herd of horses crash through the marshy waters of the Camargue. On our trip to France we had great opportunities to photograph these majestic animals. Though their origins remain relatively unknown, they are generally considered one of the oldest horse breeds in the world. For centuries, possibly thousands of years, these small horses have lived in the wild and endured the harsh environment of the Camargue wetlands of the Rhône delta.
