Panasonic has stepped up with a very important program for serious photographers. I mention serious, not professionals, since the program is all based on the equipment you use, not if you make a professional living from it. This is a smart move since there are so few pros left, AND why should somebody who buys their professional gear get less than pro service? Lumix gear is already nearly bombproof

With this new program, we’ll now have excellent service to help fix any problems that do arise. Even so, I’ve been shooting Lumix gear now since 2008, and with every passing day I’m more and more impressed with the durability of these cameras. But I’m very excited we do have this new service.
