Lucky Winner of the Lumix FZ1000
Lucky Winner of the Lumix FZ1000. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all Natural Exposures’ Explorers Blog readers and any others who visit us here on the Corkboard. We started this beautiful snowy morning here in Montana sending out our most recent NE newsletter to all the folks who have either traveled with us or have expressed a desire to travel with us in the future.
This morning’s newsletter was a special announcement highlighting the winners (did you notice I said winners?) of our recent Explorer’s drawing for a brand new Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 camera. I’m not going to spill all the beans as to what all we gave away; you’ll have to watch the video for that, but suffice it to say, there were six winners overall. What was the contest all about you ask? It was simply a way to say thank you to all the Natural Exposures’ Explorers who uploaded their galleries of images to the Explorer’s section of our new website.
For those who don’t know, we call our traveling guests Explorers. Whenever an Explorer travels with us, they have the option to upload 25 favorite photos from that particular trip to the Explorer’s section of the website. The Explorer’s page is just a small but important part of our totally redesigned and improved web presence, and we wanted to highlight and say thank you to all who shared their great photography. Yes, this could’ve been done on the Natural Exposures’ Facebook page, but there are a lot of people who don’t trust Facebook with their serious photography, including me. We wanted to offer a different environment for Explorers to share their images if Facebook wasn’t their cup of tea, so to speak. Thus, the Explorer’s section was born.
So thanks once again everybody; you have all been great folks to travel with. We’re grateful for your business and the trust you put in us – Dan, Tanya, Jill, and Colter– to make your travel holidays special. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you. We’ll be seeing many of you in in the new year.

What a way to start off my Sunday morning … thanks to Santa and his 3 elves for spreading Christmas cheer. Will be great to have a compact camera to catch all the candids that I have missed in the past. Reminds me of someone I met at JFK a few years back with a “small” camera wrapped around their neck. Hmm, wonder who that was.

It’s all good fun Grasshopper. Can’t wait to get you up to speed. Was so surprised your name came out of the box. See you soon in Kenya.

What a great way to announce contest winners Dan. When I received the e-mail I started the video with Kathy watching over my shoulder. When the $100 winners were announced I kept yelling, I know that person from such and such trip! Then when Sue won the big prize, I was so happy for her. It will be fun to see her using this camera. Merry Christmas to all my Natural Exposures Explorer friends (and Dice too) and I hope to see many of you in 2015.
