2014 Alaska Brown Bear Photography Tour

Trip notes

The Alaska Brown Bear tour was awesome. The search daily and never knowing what you will find was really thrilling! We were able to see some wonderful behaviors including a mama nursing her cubs very close to us, really showing how nonplussed she was to have us there. The guides were fantastic in protecting us and the bears. Another Mom and cubs also nursed at a distance, so we felt doubly lucky to witness and photograph that. Then fishing for salmon was great fun and beautiful to boot. The puffins were really great and challenging us all to get a clear focused image in flight…great fun! So, thank you to Tanya and Dan for the wonderful opportunity!
