2021 Iceland Landscape Photography Tour I

Trip notes

Fantastic tour, except perhaps for staying up all night to capture both the sunset and sunrise.

2019 Alaska Brown Bear Photography Tour I

Trip notes

Great tour. My only regrets were not sighting the resident fox and, for all the daily contact with salmon in the stream, too little salmon on the menu.

2018 Canadian Rockies Fall Photography Tour

25 photographs

Trip notes

Planned as a fall foliage tour, an early snowstorm improved on that, providing a great opportunity for those who participated.

2018 Bosque del Apache Bird and White Sands Photography Tour I

Trip notes

Very early, chilly mornings, but otherwise a great trip.

2016 Ultimate Madagascar Photography Tour I

Trip notes

Fantastic tour. The diversity of subject matter was incredible: baobobs, fishermen, school, rock formations, lemurs, spiny forest, bats, more lemurs, lakeside villages, reptiles, more lemurs, and of course, lovely, photogenic people.

2016 Japan Winter Wildlife Photography Tour

Trip notes

As my first tour with Natural Exposures, this set a high bar for the next one. Often on wildlife tours there is at least one animal for which I am unable to get a satisfactory photograph. Not this time. The weather was variable – less snow than desired with the snow monkeys, more than desired with the swans. However, it changed daily, and we had budgeted more than one day at each major site.
