2015 Svalbard Photography Tour

25 photographs

Trip notes

Svalbard is an amazingly beautiful place with crystal blue and white ice and snow that if you very lucky you will experience the magnificent polar bear stalking their lonely territory. We were blessed with some of these stunning creatures that are very inquisitive and came right up to our ship. God out did herself when she created polar bears. There is also some wonderful bird life, reindeer and other marine life that we got to experience.

2014 Japan Winter Wildlife Photography Tour II

25 photographs

Trip notes

This was our first trip to Japan and I had always wanted to photograph the snow monkeys. We had three glorious days at Jigokudani National Park where we got to be “up close and personal” with those adorable creatures. It was also thrilling to see and photograph the Japanese Red Crane, the Whooper Swans and the large Stellar Sea Eagles. We had a great time with a really good group of folks – as always happens when we travel with Dan and Tanya. Thanks for a great trip.

2013 South Africa Photography Tour

25 photographs

Trip notes

Out of our 4 trips to Africa, this one was without a doubt the best one yet. The leopard sightings were usually multiple every day and we got to witness some great behavior from the lions and leopards. There were herds of cape buffalo in the hundreds and large elephant herds as well. Our group was fantastic and we particularly loved Londolozi.

2012 India Photography Trip II

25 photographs

Trip notes

Once again a great trip. India is not always an easy place to travel, but Dan and Tanya did it again and gave Jim and I an amazing trip seeking out the wildlife – tigers in particular – and the amazing culture.

2010 Kenya Photography Tour

25 photographs

Trip notes

Africa is our favorite place on earth and when we go we really want a special experience for watching and photographing the animals and their surroundings. Dan and Tanya do an exceptional job at making sure that all considerations are made to ensure that everyone has the experiences they want and the time they need to capture the moment.

Trip notes

Great up close and personal experience with the Brown Bears and their cubs. It is possible to get so close and watch them interact with each other and pursue their food source.
