Beautiful fall color and totally different lifestyles from here in the US. It was amazing to see the horse drawn wagons sharing the road with cars and semis. People were all very friendly and happy to have Americans visiting their country. Transylvania was my favorite part of the country, though all of it had beautiful scenery. Still haven’t had time to go through all the photos, these are some quick picks.

The biodiversity in Costa Rica is wonderful, we visited 3 different regions which were all different. The opportunities for photographing wildlife of many kinds was endless. It took a little while to get used to the humidity in Costa Rica. This was my second trip with Natural Exposures and I have been very pleased with both. Accommodations were very nice and you are free to hike with Dan for help finding subjects or with your camera setting, set off on your own, or just take it easy and enjoy the surroundings. I would highly recommend Costa Rica if you are interested in photographing wildlife. Dan and Tanya make it a first class experience.

We spent each day out in the park in our own private snow coach with an experienced driver/guide. This was my first experience in deep snow and very cold temperatures, so it was a new experience. The wildlife was abundant and scenery was great. We spent several hours on day watching a wolf pack hunt an elk, which the guide had never seen before. Bison, elk, wolves, coyote, bald eagles, and many types of duck were just some of the wildlife we saw. Yellowstone covered with snow is completely different from the park you see in the summertime.
