One of my best-ever trips! Tanya’s organization appeared seamless , though she worked hard to make it seem so. Dan’s photo tips and suggestions added a great deal to my photography and experience. And what can one say about the lemurs , 20 species by Doug’s count? There were lots of them, close by , really wonderful animals!

The Patanal had been on my Bucket List for years, so I jumped at this opportunity to travel with Dan & Tanya. I loved the trip , all things, except for my fall into the river. There were incredible opportunities for photographs! I didn’t get good shots of everything that I would have liked (the agami heron), but enough to make me happy. I have two cats here at home that are dearly loved. As a result, there’s a jaguar series below that reflects the things cats , of all sorts , do during the course of the day. I’m also a bird watcher, so there are plenty of bird shots here, too.
