Trip notes

Experiencing the city of Oslo followed by our Arctic exploration, requires a serious dictionary to describe the unimaginable, the ultimate, the visual and auditory spectacle we were blessed to be a part of. We had fun exploring Oslo-a very modern and friendly Scandinavian city. Although we were one day delayed for our departure to Longyearbyen due to weather, we all were in great spirits and very cohesive despite the disappointment of losing one day at sea. This photography tour was beyond all expectations. We saw mother nature and it’s creatures at it’s best. Dan was absolutely wonderful especially in assuring each and every one of us had our camera settings correct to capture the polar bears, the birds, and the sea life. He was generous in spirit and in technology, even sharing his beloved Lumix cameras to those of us whose arms were sore from carrying the large lenses. Tanya was her usual confident “we will work it out self” and a wonderful social director. Can’t say enough about this trip or the great way the combined Cox’s run their tours.

Trip notes

Once again, an over the top Natural Exposures photo tour. We stayed in three wonderful lodges with first class accommodations. The twice daily bush drives were exceptional with great sightings. Fabulous fellow photographers, many of whom we have travelled with before on other NE photo tours….like one big family. The Capetown extension was a great experience. We loved the entire trip and the wine was something else!!! The Cox’s outdid themselves with this trip.

Fabulous region of the United States to visit…a real photographer’s paradise. Dan was a phenomenal teacher during the entire week, helping, coaching and just there for all of us. The group which traveled together are like minded people and oh so friendly. Tanya was her usual social and attentively effective leader. Always a smile and the comment “no worries” her mantra. This was my third NE trip with two more scheduled for this year. Palouse was terrific and some day I hope to return for more abandoned buildings. red barns, and beautiful scenery.

Trip notes

This was my first (but not my last) experience with Natural Exposures. Tanya, Dan and the other 10 traveling members of our group were first rate. We were all like minded individuals and really took great care of each other–whether it was assisting each other up the mountains, over ice, or sharing great photographic equipment or suggestions for improved photos. This was a trip of a lifetime. The accommodations were great, food delicious including the snacks Tanya provided (those maple cookies were a killer!–Canadian of course). Camaraderie was terrific. The wildlife couldn’t be better. Looking forward to many more adventures with NE.
