Apple Priming the Pump for an Aperture Update?

Posted Jun. 14th, 2013 by Daniel J. Cox

Aperture Expert Joseph Linaschke recently discussed his thoughts about Apple updating the Aperture Software Developers Kit (SDK). This is the software for people who write plugins for Aperture use to make it all work together. Apparently Apple had not updated their Aperture SDK since Aperture 2.1. He declares this is tremendously important news since the update of the SDK suggests something much bigger coming down the pike. Aperture X, Aperture 4 on the horizon? I’m still a firm believer we’ll see a new version of Aperture soon. And the more I use Aperture the more I don’t want to use any other workflow program. It’s getting tougher and tougher to keep my fingers in Lightroom.
