Adobe Lightroom Feature Request Add Your Voice
Adobe Lightroom Feature Request Add Your Voice. Since moving over to Lightroom I’ve come to appreciate the power of Adobe’s editing tools. They are, without a doubt, much superior to what I was using in Aperture. That said, there are a few serious drawbacks in Lightroom as well. This post is to request our Natural Exposures Corkboard readers to jump in and add your voice to two different ideas I would love to see Adobe add to Lightroom.
This post was inspired by fellow Lumix Luminary team member Joseph Linaschke. Joseph recently wrote a post over on his PhotoAppsExpert Blog describing a feature we had in Aperture but are missing in Lightroom. Without rewriting what Joseph has already documented, I suggest for serious Lightroom users to go to Joseph’s website and take a look at his idea for Lightroom to improve the use of a RAW+JPEG workflow. He makes a great argument for Adobe to improve this feature to match what we had in Aperture.
Along with Joseph’s idea, many of you know I’ve been wanting to see an option in Lightroom Mobile to add watermarks to images. I shoot RAW+JPEG for ease of transferring images via our Lumix wireless connection to my iPhone so I can share photos more easily. But without the ability to watermark my photos I never did move forward with Lightroom Mobile. For me it’s a must-have; otherwise Lightroom Mobile is unusable in my opinion. No photographer should be posting their work on the internet without a watermark for attribution. So help me help Joseph, which will help us all to convince Adobe to make these changes. Make sure you post your comment for this feature request on the PhotoAppsExpert page.
