    About John Keim

    My interest in photography really started about 15 years ago, with astrophotography and branched out from there. Tat coupled with an interest in travel has led to some great opportunities for photography. I have a personal goal of visiting all the continents and all 50 states and am close to achieving both. Both of my parents were interested both photography and movies so maybe it is genetic, although neither of them really pursued it.

    I have a tendency to try things once and move on and enjoy difficult shooting situations.

    Harold Edgerton is a personal hero of mine. His work with the stroboscope led to modern flash photography. I have attempted to recreate several of his iconic works.
