Daniel and Tanya Cox have been leading and organizing specialized photography expeditions to the farthest corners of the globe for over 12 years. Their authenticity and expertise comes from these many years of experience.
Daniel has had an extensive 35-year career as a world-renowned wildlife and natural history photographer. His work has graced the pages of limitless publications including two cover stories for National Geographic. He has also recently been awarded 2013 Outstanding Nature Photographer of the Year by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA).
Tanya gained her tourism experience at an early age with involvement in her family’s business, Tundra Buggy Tours, in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada – the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” Daniel and Tanya’s combined skills make each journey a quality learning adventure.
At Natural Exposures, we take pride in providing tours with personalized service from start to finish. Our consistency in tour quality has resulted in many repeat travelers which leads to dynamic and compatible groups and often long-lasting friendships; many tours feel like a reunion of friends. Groups are small and intimate. Daniel enjoys teaching and dedicates time for each guest based on their individual needs—our guests come first! We try not to do the typical “classroom style workshop.” We learn and have fun in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Natural Exposures strives to get you to the best locations at the right times for optimal photographs. Depending on the tour, accommodations are booked mid to high end for comfort, and tours are typically scheduled so guests have some time to explore areas on their own. Little extras are always included to make sure each adventure is a special one. Our main goal is to have each guest return home with advanced photography skills, wonderful imagery, new friendships, fond memories, and also feel like they were on a vacation. We look forward to welcoming you on our next exciting journey!
