Jeff Benjamin Shows Us How to Do Slow Motion in FCPX

Posted Jan. 30th, 2018 by Daniel J. Cox

One of my favorite Apple news websites is 9to5 Mac and one of their regular contributors is a young man named Jeff Benjamin. He’s full of great Apple information, and even more importantly seems to be a very nice young man. Recently he shared a FCPX tip for slowing down a video shot at normal video speeds into a slo-mo masterpiece. Of course he does say if you know you want slow motion from the start, it’s better to do that in-camera, using something like the GH5’s 180FPS This was just one of many small FCPX tips I’ve learned about lately that I wanted to share. Enjoy Jeff’s video and let me know if there are any little tips you want to share in the comments below.

Very cool. Hadn’t seen these options discussed anywhere so this is helpful. Will play around with it! Thanks for sharing.
