I just purchased a new G9. How do I know what firmware is currently on the camera?

Karen, turn you camera on and push the Menu button–on the back of the camera–which will show several tabs on the left side. Use the rocker pad that surrounds the Menu button to move down to the Wrench. Not the C/Wrench but the wrench all by itself. Select that tab then use the Right Arrow on the rocker pad to get into this menu. You want to arrow down until you get to page 3/5. At the bottom of this page you see “Version” select that and you’ll get the body and lens firmware version numbers. That’s it. Let me know if you have any further questions.
